Ikhtiyaruddin Ghazi Shah (1349-1352) sultan of Bengal. Ikhtiyaruddin Ghazi Shah was the son and successor of fakhruddin mubarak shah. He ruled over a kingdom comprising the whole of the eastern and southeastern part of Bengal for three years. Chittagong, which was a part of the kingdom of sonargaon since 1340 AD, appears to have been captured by the king of arakan in the second year of his reign (1350). Ghazi Shah was defeated and killed by Sultan Shamsuddin iliyas shah of lakhnauti who captured Sonargaon in 1352 AD. [Muazzam Hussain Khan]
