Khasnagar Dighi A large pond situated at about a mile to the south of panam and close to the village of Khasnagar in sonargaon. It is said that originally it covered an area of about twenty acres of land. But subsequently, in about 1879-80, it measured 1200 × 600 feet. Its banks were once covered with huts of weavers. It is said that muslin fabric, when washed in its water, attained brilliant whiteness. [Muazzam Hussain Khan]
